 16.11.2015r. NEW MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN HOSPITAL

30.10.2012 r. It ended up delivery with installation and commissioning high-end medical equipment. The project PLO7 to our hospital purchased the following medical devices:

1.X-ray facility (August):

Diagnostic Ultrasound with 3 heads with a value of 155,000.00 zł. Supplier in equipment is the Consortium MIRO Sp. z o. o, ul. Florian 6 lok. 9, 03-707 Warsaw with Nettle SA ul. Hubska 44, 50-502 Wroclaw.

2. Operating block (September):

Set for laparoscopic value of 274,275.95 zł. Supplier in equipment is the company MEDIM Sp. zoo. ul. Puławska 45B, 05-500 Piaseczno.
The kit includes:

- endoscopic camera

- xenon light source and optical fiber

- insufflator

- laparoscopic tools

- pump hysteroscopically-laparoscopic carriage of apparatus.

3. Laboratory endoscopy (October):

The double set of video endoscopes the value of 907,011.00 zł. Supplier  in equipment is the company VARIMED Sp. zoo. ul. Silesian Insurgents 5, 53-332 Wroclaw.

     The project of 23 July 2015 year in all municipalities of the district Zawiercie and Myszków, begins a series of training regarding health education and health promotion associated with preventive examinations and a healthy lifestyle. In all municipalities meetings will be held with potential project participants, their families and interested parties. The meeting will consist of two parts - a meeting with an oncologist and nutritionist. The meetings will raise awareness about the early signs of cancer, risk factors and proceedings in case of suspicion, the role of physical activity in reducing the risk of cancer, appropriate diet. Information about the place and time of training can also be obtained in the local media and leaflets.

27.02.2015r.   INAUGURATING CONFERENCE OF PL07 PROJECT

     On 27 February 2015 in the District Hospital in Zawiercie a conference inaugurating the project "The oncology screening program of cancer of the digestive system in the zawierciański and myszkowski districts as a chance of living longer in good health" took place. The project is co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, within the frames of the Programme PL07 "Development and better adaptation of health care to demographic and epidemiological trends". Promotional activities carried out by the District Hospital in Zawiercie aim to encourage residents of the Zawiercie and Myszków districts to participate in the project, including screenings and educational activities through building the awareness of the seriousness of the problem, which is cancer of the digestive system. One of the goals of the conference was to inform the representatives of central and local government and representatives of the local media that the project would not be realized, if it was not supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through funding from the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism
